Psychotherapy for Women in
NY, NJ & MA
I provide virtual psychotherapy for women in New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts navigating anxiety, overthinking, perfectionism, trauma, and major life transitions.
This work focuses on identifying and changing the patterns that drive anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional reactivity—so you can feel more clear, grounded, and in control of how you respond to your life.
Many of the women I work with are high-functioning on the outside, but internally feel mentally overloaded, exhausted, or stuck in patterns that are difficult to shift.
You May Be Noticing
Your mind rarely fully shuts off
You feel capable on the outside but overwhelmed internally
You hold yourself to high or unrealistic standards
You overthink decisions or second-guess yourself
You feel like you “should” be able to handle things, but it’s getting harder
How Therapy Works
Therapy with me is structured, direct, and insight-driven. We don’t just focus on managing symptoms—we identify and change the patterns underneath what you’re experiencing.
This includes understanding what’s driving your anxiety, perfectionism, or emotional responses, while also developing more effective ways to feel steady and in control in your day-to-day life.
This is active, focused work—not just a space to talk, but a space to make meaningful, lasting shifts.
Treatment Approach
My work integrates evidence-based approaches that support both insight and emotional processing.
EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
EMDR therapy helps your brain reprocess unresolved experiences so they feel less overwhelming and no longer drive current patterns.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
CBT focuses on identifying and shifting unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to anxiety, stress, and self-doubt.
Mindfulness-Based Approaches
Mindfulness supports emotional regulation, helping you stay present and respond more intentionally rather than react automatically.
What Makes This Work Different
Many clients come to me after trying to manage things on their own and still feeling stuck.
They’re often used to pushing through, over-functioning, and relying on themselves—until it starts to feel unsustainable.
This work goes beyond short-term coping. It focuses on deeper, lasting change in how you think, feel, and respond—so you can move through your life with more clarity, steadiness, and control.
