Psychotherapy for Women in NY, NJ & MA
I provide virtual psychotherapy for women across New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts who are navigating anxiety, perfectionism, trauma, and major life transitions.
Many of the women I work with are high-functioning on the outside but internally feel overwhelmed, mentally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that are hard to shift.
You may be noticing:
• Your mind rarely fully shuts off
• You feel capable, but constantly overwhelmed
• You hold yourself to high standards and feel pressure to keep up
• You second-guess yourself or overthink decisions
• You feel like you “should” be able to handle things, but it’s getting harder
How Therapy Works
Therapy with me is structured, insight-driven, and focused on helping you understand what’s underneath what you’re experiencing—not just manage it on the surface.
We look at the patterns driving your anxiety, perfectionism, or emotional responses, while also building practical ways to feel more steady and in control in your day-to-day life.
This is not just a space to talk—it’s a space to make sense of what’s happening and create meaningful, lasting change.
Approach
I integrate evidence-based approaches including EMDR therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
EMDR therapy helps process unresolved experiences so they no longer feel as intense or overwhelming
CBT helps you understand and shift unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors
Mindfulness-based tools support emotional regulation and staying present
My work is trauma-informed and grounded in your lived experience.
What Makes This Different
Clients often choose to work with me when they’re looking for therapy that goes beyond just talking and want a more structured, insight-driven approach.
If you’ve been used to figuring things out on your own, therapy can feel different at first—but it allows you to step out of survival mode and actually understand what’s driving your experience.
Logistics
Sessions are held virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform and can be accessed from your phone, tablet, or computer.
Treatment Approach
Therapy with me is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in your lived experience. I draw from evidence-based approaches that support both emotional insight and nervous system regulation, including:
-
I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, an evidence-based approach that helps the brain process and release stuck distress related to past experiences. EMDR can be especially helpful for trauma, persistent anxiety, and patterns that feel difficult to shift through insight alone.
-
CBT-informed strategies are used to help identify unhelpful thought patterns, reduce overthinking, and build more flexible, supportive ways of responding to stress. This work is always integrated with deeper emotional processing so it feels practical without being surface-level.
-
With advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C), I support women navigating pregnancy, postpartum, fertility concerns, and the emotional adjustments that often accompany motherhood. This work is paced carefully to support both emotional stability and self-trust during this season.
Treatment is always personalized to your goals, your nervous system capacity, and the pace that feels sustainable for you.
